All I care about is that they are a fellow conference member, play good football, play in a great stadium, go to bowls and ususally win and are a good rival.

A lot better then Southern Miss' sh*tty program would have done! 14 postseason appearances in the last 17 years and a Top 15 recruiting class coming in b*tch! Now do everybody a favor and try to put together a decent basketball program. And continue to root for your overrated football program.

Interesting, looking at Scout's site you aren't in the top 25. According to Scout you have 2 commits for next season, both 2 stars.

Also, according to Scout, UC has three 4 star players, two 3 star players, and one 2 star player who was recommended to UC by Eric Hicks' old coach (same school).

Where is this great recruiting class you are referring to?

Oh yeah... and in 2008, UC already has a commitment from a 5* player top 15 player, Yancy Gates.

As for your top 14 last year, who gave that to you? Probably the same publication that rated UC's in the top 25 even though Cronin recruited them all for less than a month and none were considered anywhere near top notch save 1. Just because you signed a lot of players does not make a class good, and many of these services do just that. Since your coach threw off 3/4 of his team last year he had to sign a lot of guys.

By the way our 7-footer, Anthony McClain, that chose UC over the likes of Indiana, Ohio State, Xavier, Georgetown and Connecticut is a very highly respected recruit. He doesn't suck like your 7-footer does. There's a reason why recruiting experts talk about UC's recruits and doesn't give Southern Miss' "#14 ranked" class the time of day.

I wouldnt call them laughable.. if things continue like they are, and they actually pick up this new offense... they will win 9 or 10 games this year.. they will be much improved..
