The city said police used pepper spray to break up some fights, and the city brought street sweepers in to defuse the crowd around 2 a.m. City officials described the crowd as "rowdy, and at times hostile." lol at the city officials description of the situation.....like that's some earth shattering news being brought to the table.....

Hell, I've heard white people say it in Wisconsin just a few years back and they clearly weren't emulating black culture when they did it. Then there's that frat video from Ok st. that apparently wasn't an isolated incident.

The issue would be less prevalent if the word was used less in the black community. Generally when someone doesn't like an action, they will stop doing it themselves. They are only giving power to it by using it.

It doesn't matter. It is either OK to say it, or it isn't OK to say it. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO FREE PASSES.

If penalties are going to be handed out to some for saying it (at schools, in the work place, etc.) then similar penalties should be given out to everyone that says it in those type situations. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO FREE PASSES.

I am an African American and I hate that word with a passion, no matter what race is saying it. But for you to make a comment like that is just very ignorant. Do you really think that if every black person were to stop saying it that it was merely disappear? To have the nerve and say the we can only blame ourself shows that you really live in a bubble or under a rock. You have more non African American saying it now more than ever. Did you even stop to think that maybe if everybody would stop saying it then the word may stop to exist. The Kentucky player should punished swiftly and harsh for saying that. Whether he will is up to Kentucky. But don't you dare blame the reason for that word still existing on us.

Really glad Wisconsin won last night with a bunch kids from their home state that are actual college players not just kids that play a year and head off to the NBA. I also love to see coach Cal lose and it won't be too long before he gets in trouble for cheating again.
