Cal is going to the NBA. Skal has decommitted & is coming to memphis. Nichols, Skal, & the Lawson's are now a lock for the final 4! As Pastner agrees to sit his arse down & let Jim Calhoun call the shots for this amazing group of players!!!

Then my wife shook me from my sleep & I woke up.

Cal likely IS going to the NBA this year imo.

IF not, then he simply want once last chance since this team didn't finish the job.

That logic did not keep him at Memphis though and he will prob be coaching Lebron James.

Good point! That team is the best team that he will ever put together IMHO! He floundered @ the managing aspect this year for sure @ it's all in his face! He's going to bolt with some lame az excuse "I need to be closer to my mother, that's getting ill". Maybe he says "I don't like the way I left Memphis, it's really been bothering me"! But, he would have to win a championship to say that crap.....they wouldn't let him out of there alive ......lol

Yeah his ego will lead him back. He can't stand that he is seen as a failure at that level. Now with a chance to coach the best player in the world and win nba titles like his good friend Larry Brown. I think it's realistic that if Cleveland called this time he would listen. His ego is too big to not succeed at the highest level.

Lol, as long as you're dreaming why not grab coach K instead of Calhoun.

He would go to Cleveland for sure.

Unfortunately, no need to worry about Kentucky getting our coach. It would be fun to see the drama and who they went after though. Nice to sit and watch from a back row instead of a front one this time. They say time heals, or getting another one prettier.. So, yeah..time is kind of healing.

I hope X leaves KY; goes and flops in the NBA while KY makes a bad hire and doesn't sniff the NCAA tournament for 5 years.............. won't happen but it's fun to think about.
