And the way it's going, Spurs (only a game behind) will overtake the Grizz. I think we'll go 3-2 and end up with a 5 seed, and start off against the Blazers.

The Griz's grit and grind style is physically taxing. It wears on the team. I'd rather they save their energy for the playoffs.
Playing back to back is exhausting no matter what style you play. There is absolutely zero excuse for last night.

You day the NBA schedule is taxing. Amazing the Spurs, Cavs, Rockets aren't having much problem.

I would buy the back to back excuse if they had to travel to Washington and if Washington want also playing a back to back
The Grizz are ahead of the Spurs in the playoff standings. The Cavs have the best player on the planet on their roster. They should be a better team than the Griz. The Rockets are only one game ahead of the Griz. Regardless, it really does not matter how the Griz play until the playoffs start. Everyone will forget the last few weeks if the Griz have a good playoff run.

It does matter how the Grizz are playing. You don't want to go into the playoffs not playing well. You want to go in playing well. Is also about positioning. If things stay the same you can forget about a playoff run.

Spurs are behind the Grizz because the Spurs had a ton of injuries and got off to a really slow start.

It's not about being the better team, it's about playing well.

I think they are trying to win. I could be wrong.

If that's the seeding then it's wrong. Portland cannot be lower than a 4 seed.

RE: Wiz at Griz
the grizzlies suck right now. They just do. Nobody is hitting outside shots and Gasol is in a major funk. More than that, the effort is not there.

Even worse, the bench has been pretty bad too. Beno is awesome as a bench player and thank god for his mid-range scoring or the bench unit might never score.

They've been so frustrating since the all-star break. They mailed in the game against OKC before the all start break and have never recovered. Some nights they try, some nights they don't.

The grizzlies are basically just a "tough out" in the playoffs the way they're playing right now. Although, not really that tough if they score in the 80s every other game
