I wouldn't mind seeing them go down for certain but with no "little guy" left I'd much prefer to see a Clash of the Titans in the title game rather than Wisconsin, surely a titan but not quite as tall as the other two.

Wisconsin vs. Duke would almost seem like the perfect way to cap off this tournament, only because it has already been the most boring and bland tournament in recent memory. Might as well have it end with the blandest match up possible.

This tournament hasn't been boring and bland. It hasn't had an array of surprises and unfamiliar faces but its been alright. 2000 and 2007 were years that were predictable and bland (minus the fact two 8-seeds made the Final Four. Both were well known though).

Already saw Duke cruise past Wisconsin in Madison earlier this season...B-O-R-I-N-G...but really have no dog in this...

That makes no sense what so ever.

Yeah...and Michigan State lost to Texas Southern yet look what became of them!

Wisconsin looks pretty good so far against Kentucky. That must mean they are boring.

Wisconsin has played really well- but what do they have to show for it? 32-32 tie game with 2 minutes to go...

Yes it does, re-think it. UK-Duke would be juicy but Wis-Duke would be a yawn--bland--by comparison. That said I think it can be argued in reverse and that a Duke-UK matchup would be boring and predictable.

And? Did anyone expect them to be able to blow out Kentucky even with their best play?

Why are so many boneheaded comments being made about The Big Ten teams today?

No it wouldn't. Some of you must be absolutely brainwashed to think whatever a Big Ten team does is boring. You see a Big Ten team and immediately "boring" comes to mind no matter how ignorant such an assertion is.

Yes, the opposite could be argued. What else could be argued is that a Duke-UK matchup further makes college basketball even more boring by turning it into nothing more than a recruiting battle with only a few teams ever being seen in the latter rounds of the tournament.

If you folks don't want basketball to become boring, stale and predictable then you seriously need to amend your perceptions.

Not blow out, but you would expect with how well Wisconsin played they would be better than just even.

This has nothing to do with the style of play for Wisconsin. It's just about the fact there is nothing interesting or exciting about them. There have been no cinderellas or underdogs win since the first day of the tournament.

We got a great first day and then its been a yawn since. Four typical major conference powers in the final 4. I can't imagine a less exciting final 4, outside swapping Wisconsin for someone like Kansas.

Wake me back up when there is more parity and fun in college basketball again.

Nobody is talking about Wisky's style of play as boring, just that a Wisconsin-Duke matchup would be boring by comparison to the alternative.

So...Wisconsin beating Arizona at the exact same point as last year and then Kentucky beating Wisconsin at the exact same point as last year isn't boring?

Yes! The exact same thing should happen every single year!

Only if it meant Houston winning it all each year a la UCLA under Wooden.

Oh, it's boring no matter what. Nothing is saving this tournament from being the most boring in recent memory at this point.

Seeing someone hang yet another banner isn't too exciting.

I have no idea why you think Kentucky vs some mid-major Cinderella would be more fun than Kentucky vs Wisconsin.

Whoever makes the Final 4 has earned it and it is fun to watch them. So far UK vs UW has been a very good game.

Give me 4 mid or low major cinderellas in the final 4 every year and I would be thrilled. That's what makes college basketball fun. Not just basically watching the rich get richer. It's like rooting for the school yard bully or the house in cards otherwise.

Wisconsin hasn't hung one since before Pearl Harbor was bombed, before the NCAA tournament even meant anything. That would be something different.

That said, I do hope we see the day when some complete unknown marches all the way to win the Final. Even when Butler got there, they had 15 years of pedigree and Tournament appearances.

And I'd love to see Cinderella but not every year. Every other year maybe. This Kentucky team may be the best college team in 15 years or so. It's rare that happens anymore.
