I dont think we hold that to the end, but with our Coach K, I think we stay toward the top of the list most years. Hes done an amazing job in such a short period of time.

All teams are kinda bunched up with similar records with one major outlier, 7-21 cincy

I believe Tulane was giving him a long look before going with Pierce.

All of the hires last year, at USF, Tulane, and ECU, were top notch.

I love this conference. Looking forward to tournament time.

I think in the next few years with blue chip recruiting with Houston,Tulane, South Florida,East Carolina,Central Florida etc. The AAC will be one of the best baseball conferences in the nation. I would like to have Rice join us.

Only way that Tulane and Rice will be in the same league again is if we rejoin C-USA

USF's coach Kingston was a long time Rick Jones assistant at Tulane. he left TU for the Illy State head coaching job.
We interviewed him and he signed with USF shortly after the interview.
USF got a great coach; Tulane got a great coach.
Worked out well for all parties.

Much as I agree that Rice is valuable, it would be a very poor decision to invite them, however I'd invite them over Marshall or Southern Miss.

Tell you what. Everyone else can keep the credits they earn from the NCAA for baseball, and we'll humbly accept all the credits we earned for basketball.

Deal?

Good, deal.

The AAC is 5th in RPI, and closing in on #4. We're actually closer to #3 than we are to #6.
If we get to #3, we may be able to get 3/4 of our teams into the tourney, Big East style.

The problem is the rpi. Beating ucif could cost them hosting a regional. I mean did you call Jeff Lebo and ask advice on how to make the worst schedule possible?

So people complain about UC's RPI, but then they also complain when UC wins.

It's been open season on all things UC around here for a while...just comes with being the alpha dog. I'm fine with it.

It already is as far as current competitiveness goes. Just don't have bluebloods with glorious histories.

I like Rice but would not invite them out of respect for UH's wishes and the fact that we don't need two schools in the same city.

Not everyone disses on UC. Even though I am fond of several teams in our new conference, it Ill always be a fan of UC and Uconn. Its kinda like we all went through a war together.... and lost horribly. Custards charge has nothing on what happened to the old Big East.

LOL. It's funny how fans ONLY notice when their school is being attacked. My friend UC is NOT the only one that is "attacked" often on this board.
