I am not super familiar with how our league stacks overall against the competition. People who are knowledgable - How many do we realistically get in the tournament this year?

We should get at least 3, and as much as maybe 5. As it stands today, UH, UCF, and USF are all in. Maybe UConn, too. Memphis and Tulane are on the bubble.

Based on what? Certainly not their sub-100 RPI.

Just won a series vs Tulane, RPI climbing, team playing with confidence, being a historical college baseball program

I think all 8 AAC teams will get the top 8 national seeds for the tournament. The league is that good.

You, Quo, and Bearcats1, should have a Ménage à trois.

Do you know what that means?

Being a "historical college baseball program" (whatever that is) is irrelevant to ECU making a regional. I'm glad to hear the RPI is moving up, but it still has a LONG way to go.

I would love to be proven wrong (I'm an ECU fan), I just don't see it. Still a lot of baseball to be played, though.

ECU has a shot if we keep winning series. Also need to win the remaining mid week games. Our rpi will continue to climb considering the remaining schedule.

FYI, ECU is 0-5 against the top 50 in the RPI. For comparison, UCF is 6-6 and Houston is 7-5 vs. the top 50.

I know - but the remaining schedule provides us with 16 top 50 games. And Campbell's rpi is 55.

3 loses were against number 1. The snow really screwed up our rpi. Way to early to guess who will be in.

ECU has enough opportunities against top 50 teams going forward to make a big leap, but it's gonna take us putting together a pretty gaudy record in those games. Of ECU's 23 remaining games 16 of them are against teams currently in the top 50.
