Their arena is 8K for basketball and 11-12K for their convocations; the baseball stadium is as nice as probably half the ACC; they have their own ice hockey rink; and their football stadium is nice.

I'm surprised they haven't started completely dominating every sport in that league. They already dominate women's basketball and have taken the mantle from Coastal in baseball, and they made the football playoffs last year.

Yes it's rather ufortunate how much money is compiled by the mission of hatred and brainwashing.

It's certainly one thing if you're a Liberty student athlete who grew up in a household beholden to Fallwellism. But if you grew up in just a regular christian household and then got big eyes at all the shiny facilities and money that runs through there, well I guess it's something akin to selling your soul.

And as the post is about if GaSt is first to have consistent win seasons or Liberty is first to gain FBS membership, you believe who will achieve it first?

When they make FBS, their program will be a much sounder and stronger program than when GaSt entered. Years for GaSt to begin winning. Years for Liberty to achieve FBS. With Liberty being a private school without the public school resctriction, Liberty has huge advantage of support from admins and school prez. When and where and with whom or indy is the question. And Liberty will likely have FBS before GaSt has consecutive 6-6 seasons.

How has Liberty done in the I-AA playoffs since their call up in 1989? I know their MBB has lost 84 games in the last 4 years...in the Big South...

2014 Georgia State 1-11
Wed, Aug 27 Abilene Christian Georgia Dome 38 - 37 (W)
Sat, Sep 06 New Mexico State * Georgia Dome 31 - 34 (L)
Sat, Sep 13 Air Force Georgia Dome 38 - 48 (L)
Sat, Sep 20 Washington Seattle, Wash. 14 - 45 (L)
Sat, Oct 04 UL Lafayette * Lafayette, La. 31 - 34 (L)
Sat, Oct 11 Arkansas State (Homecoming) * Georgia Dome 10 - 52 (L)
Sat, Oct 18 South Alabama * Mobile, Ala. 27 - 30 (L)
Sat, Oct 25 Georgia Southern * Georgia Dome 31 - 69 (L)
Sat, Nov 01 Appalachian State * Boone, N.C. 0 - 44 (L)
Sat, Nov 08 Troy * Troy, Ala. 21 - 45 (L)
Sat, Nov 22 Clemson Clemson, S.C. 0 - 28 (L)
Sat, Nov 29 Texas State * Georgia Dome 31 - 54 (L)

You may want to get your house in order before you worry about Liberty. 1-11 with your one 2014 victory against Abilene Christian. GaSt smack will be valid when the team can do it on the field.

Congrats to the MBB team as hat was a great NCAA victory. Football, which is the big dog, is another matter for GaSt. If we include 2013 that's an 0-12 for GaSt. That's 1-23 the two past years.

And 2012, in the CAA, the schools last year in FCS, another 1-11. That's a record of 2-34 since 2012. The worst enemy for GaSt is not Liberty, or the fans of Liberty, it's the status of the GaSt program for the past 3 years. In 2011, GaSt did win 3 games. Intense and over expressed frustration is understood with years and years of futility and losses.

Did you answer the question in there somewhere? :D

Fallwell is in the ground. That's a more important win, for our nation.

When are you going to stop creating GSU Butthurt Threads?

If your new treatise is that you deserve FBS more than GSU I have some awful news. Only you believe that. There is no scenario where Liberty has more upside than GSU. Zero. Like I have said, 3 SBC MBB trophies in two years, currently first place in baseball, and about to turn a MLB ballpark into a football stadium and will have 55k students enrolled in Fall 2016 in the 8th largest DMA. You guys unfortunately for you are the weird school in rural VA. Sucks for you. Has nothing to do with us. Enjoy your evening.

Oct 3 is going to be another FBS victory for Liberty. I just wish the opponent was something other than a winless, fan frustrated institution, whose supporters can only spew disdain on Liberty rather discuss a recent victory. Since there are none. Buckle up guys, you are going to clocked again this year by Liberty and likely Charlotte. Go 49ers. Go Flames.

And Liberty will FBS before the school even has a winning season

Saying that you're not getting an invite is not disdain it's the truth. As for Oct 3rd being a Liberty victory....5 weeks into the season..lol...lol...lol. Nice to see you start the week with more jokes. So instead of discussing our won loss record and creating smack threads why don't you regale us with tales of how you're one of the top two candidates for CUSA despite being rejected twice by the SBC.

Think of it this way

Here's a fact. GaSt 2-34 since 2012.

...and still FBS and you are not.

Thank you for pointlessly bringing us into this discussion.

First place in baseball in the SBC? We beat you two times in Feb this season already. Our RPI ranks us about 39th in the country. Ga State's RPI puts you about 148th in the country. I maybe off a little on RPI's, below is the website I used. I don't care to join this pissing match because it's just silly I just wanted clarifation on what you meant.

Liberty will get an invite to FBS before GaSt has success in football. It may take Liberty 10yrs before they get their invite so you do math.
