Interesting - one Tennessee kid (injured though).

Three Texas kids - maybe if Shaka can lock down the state he can win big there.

He should get the pick of the litter, but there are more than he can take coming out of Texas every year. Bold move by Texas. I love watching the big boosters squirm, they really struggle with the thought of two black head coaches, but they know they have to win the recruiting battle where A&M is kicking their butt in football and you have to give them credit, they want more than what they were getting with Barnes.

I agree, A&M is killing it in basketball recruiting as well.

The common theme is that no matter where thèyre from, they always ttend the same 10-12 schools every year.

Look at a list of teams who've won it all more than once since 1950. It's a very, very small list.

Harrison kids would have gone to UK regardless if hype boy were coach at Texas.

More interesting how few Texas kids there were. Definitely a football state.

Looking at the past couple Rivals 150 in basketball, it seems there are enough Texas guys each year to be really good, but there has never been a precedent that Texas "gets all the Texas kids" like Memphis with Memphis kids or IU (in the past) getting Indy kids etc.

Houston has most of the good ones. maybe Kelvin can dip into that for the flagship.

I would have thought they all would have been from the "hot bed".

Better water in the Midwest, or just better AAU programs?
