That's not an event. The term "new event" makes it sound like it is a new "tradition" event that will happen every season, or a new concert or something.

Clearly this is the enshrinement of PJ Fleck into the NIU Huskies Hall of Fame on Nov. 18. As has been stated here before, half the threads are about Fleck and most of us have a crush on him. It's good to see that the administration is giving the fans what they want.

The room would be filled wall-to-wall with guys with extended kickstands.

Right smack in the middle of the MAC offices in Cleveland.

Guys, it's obvious what's going on...

He'll be having a Fleck meet'n'greet when we play WMU. Kids and adults (mostly adults from this board) will be able to pay to sit on Fleck's lap and have their picture taken with him. You can tell him what you want for this season (Oh please Mr. Fleck, I've been good... can i have another MAC championship for my Huskies?) And he responds with a hearty "ROW ROW ROOWWW, GROW THE CHEMIS-TREE!!!" Expected to sell out fast, Frazier is currently looking for volunteers to dress up as giant rowboat oars and trees with test tubes hanging off them. I've already filled out my application!

All proceeds will go to reopening the grotto

Darn! I was hoping to hold a similar event on that day (and that's what I thought STF was referring to). It was to be called: "The First (of What Should Be) Annual Sit on Dog Fan's Lap (If You Can Find It) Day". I would offer anyone to sit on my lap and we could just talk about the first thing that comes up. And, at my age, it would be a miracle if anything comes up.

Well, thank you! I have to admit that I'm a dead ringer for Fleck. People tell me all the time that I look like him. Plus, the women and men can't keep their hands off of me. I once even had my bottom patted by a non-named MAC East basketball coach! So, I humbly offer my lap to service all you endearing Huskie fans! (Just remember....as it always is with me, it's first come, first served!)
