Ayatollah Khamenei’s Arabic Twitter account is celebrating victory over their enemies, the U.S., after the “framework of a deal” was announced yesterday.

What is really sad, the French are saying they wanted to hold out for tougher measures but the Americans got week kneed and caved in. We are now not as tough as the French. Unreal.

Haha. I noticed that too. How big of a puss do you have to be to make the French look tough?

Someone post the pic of O with his mom jeans and bike helmet.

Ask and ye shall receive....

Haha... you DO know that the "Mission Accomplished" banner was hung there because that particular warship had completed it's tour of duty in the Middle East and was returning home, right? It wasn't about the overall war in Iraq. But even so, the lefties globbed onto it and created a false narrative.

So President Bush showing up and in military gear is something he does for every warship that completes it's mission?

No that was a stupid move by Bush.

If to make "the world" happy we have to invade yet another country, then F 'em. Because that was our other option. What were the other countries doing about Iran? Huh?

NOTHING.

That was ONE OF many other options. This is one thing the left likes to do. Act as if there is only one other option and it is terrible. It was done with the auto bailout, it's being done with global warming, it's being done here.

The whole argument for this agreement rests upon two critical assumptions. One, that this agreement will materially impair Iran's efforts to develop nuclear weapons. Two, that the only alternative to this agreement is certain war. I reject both of them

RE: Obama Calls His “Agreement To An Agreement” Capitulation To Iran “Historic”…
“The notion that we would condition Iran not getting nuclear weapons in a verifiable deal on Iran recognizing Israel is really akin to saying that we won’t sign a deal unless the nature of the Iranian regime completely transforms,” Obama said in an interview with National Public Radio set to air in full Tuesday morning. “And that is, I think, a fundamental misjudgment.”

So obama knows the Iranians aren't going to change. Perhaps he thinks they don't need to change, though we all know he felt America needed "fundamental transformation"

“I want to return to this point: we want Iran not to have nuclear weapons precisely because we can’t bank on the nature of the regime changing,” Obama continued in the excerpt released by NPR. “That’s exactly why we don’t want [Iran] to have nuclear weapons. If suddenly Iran transformed itself to Germany or Sweden or France then there would be a different set of conversations about their nuclear infrastructure.”

Okay, if we can't bank on them changing, what makes him think they will abide by this agreement?

Uh Oh: Schumer Bucks Obama, To Side With GOP On Iran

Chuck, better watch out for the knife in the back from Obama, remember Menendez. Chuck’s position was predictable, which makes his choice by Harry Reid at this particular time rather intriguing.

Quote:Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer, one of Capitol Hill’s most influential voices in the Iran nuclear debate, is strongly endorsing passage of a law opposed by President Barack Obama that would give Congress an avenue to reject the White House-brokered framework unveiled last week.

The comments Monday by the Democratic leader-in-waiting illustrate the enormity of the task ahead for Obama and his team: While there’s no guarantee that Congress would ultimately reject an agreement with Iran, there’s an increasingly bipartisan consensus that Congress should at least have the ability to do so.
