Woah. Talk about out of left field. FS Ohio is reporting Jans was involved in a bar fight recently.

EDIT: Not necessarily a fight, apparently. But some sort of "inappropriate conduct" at a bar in BG.

Crazy story. It sucks for BG fans, because Jans looked like he was taking the program in the winning direction. They'll now be on their third coach in three years.

Indeed. As our Ohio friends acknowledge, the revolving coaching door has really, really hurt their program.

Not to take away from that number but I don't think there are many Women's Volleyball programs in D1 that are lower than 3.0...

Like I said she was a mediocre coach and her chance lasted way too long.

Yep, for whatever reasons, women's VB teams really put up the GPAs.

They typically are academic stars of the athletic programs.
