Roundball, Rasslin', Rock-n-Roll, R&B, Roller Derby, Radio and Rap at the historic Mid-South Coliseum!!

Come celebrate our public land and city brand with live music, basketball and pro wrestling! All this plus local beer, food trucks, guided tours inside the building (pending approval from the City of Memphis), vendors and all sorts of family fun!

Main event to feature Jerry "the King" Lawler and Superstar Bill Dundee!!

More details on which bands are playing, the basketball tourney and which other wrestlers might appear will be posted here soon!

The future is very bright for the Coliseum. Lots of ways to repurpose it and lots of life left in it. The City and developers are selling the citizens a bill of goods that the Coliseum is in terrible shape. Nothing is farther from the truth.

Come out and see what possibilities there are for the Coliseum. Overton Square has returned to life and the Sears Crosstown building is about to be re-opened and repurposed; ditto, the very old Tennessee Brewery, the Marine Hospital on the river, and the 19th Century Club building on Union.

It was on one of those ghost shows on Travel channel the other night. Pretty creepy place.

I did the tour of it last fall. I didn't have the desire to tour the morgue in the basement, but my boyfriend did. Yuk. The whole place was rather dark even in the day. Quite creepy, even for a ghosthunter like me.

And the spirits of the Indian mound next to only add to it.
