-Some are talking about UConn adding LAX in 2018. The new soccer stadium bri g built will be dual purpose 5k ish seats wise. Will do soccer in the fall and lax teams in the spring. Expect UConn to quickly be top 25 competitive and f4 threats.
-Suposedly some students are starting protests of the athletic department because they want C football helmets and not the ones they have now.
-Another topic is talk of the women's volleyball team getting a new coach and a program step up in general.
-word is that the Hartford ballpark is starting to get built soon and after its built UConn plans to knock it's stadium down and build a 3k one in the same area. While under construction they will play in Hartford. The deal is that Hartford will host postseason events like regionals when they earn that distinction. A softball field update will also happen, they just hired a new coach last year.
-the hockey barn proposal to be built on the site of the high school is going to pass. The state has been looking at combining a few towns in the area into one new high school and this will be part of the overall haul of construction up there. Expect the new high school to be just north of 84 potentially.
