He got himself banned from this board first and then the AAC board second.
Don't worry, he'll be back under some other name. He's like a virus... Mutates a little and is back to create more misery.

Not a big deal if you're a P5 team. Look at Boise State's future schedules. They always try to play 3 quality opponents, and never play FCS schools. If we're having trouble finding a 3rd quality opponent, we should just play BYU every year. I'm sure they would be happy to start a yearly series and ease the burden of scheduling 12 games.

Playing FCS teams should be a last resort but we still have to look at the options available. There might not have been a team willing to go on the road to open the 2016 season at Nippert. UC probably didn't want to open with two power five road games in 2016.
Boise State does schedule up in the non-conference partly because they have a reputation that allows them to do so. Also, the Mountain West top to bottom is weaker than the American. Boise State by themselves brings up the conference but the American's collection of teams at the top should be be stronger most years. By the way Boise State is playing Idaho State this season which is an FCS game.

Those West Coast schools are a different animal. Given geographic proximity, the schools in the PAC12/BYU take no issue scheduling the G5 schools out there and in fact often agree to home and home. I've seen PAC12 schools schedule the likes of Boise, Fresno State, San Diego State, Wyoming, Utah State, etc.
Schools in the rest of the country seem to take the more exclusive route.
