I simply found out first hand the damage being done in recruiting. I'd heard about it, of course, but hearing and knowing are two different things.

Do you have any details other than the general info that gets posted here?

No, sorry. Not trying to be coy, just can't do it. Frankly, I have recently been arguing that the recruiting hasn't been affected much. How bad and how extensive, hard for me to say. That's better directed to people who keep up with recruiting.

This is something I heard at the beginning of this year. "Penny" had removed his hand from the program in regards to recruiting. We aren't getting any of the top 3 players in Memphis for 2016. SMU stole a nice SG from under Josh. We need a PG and a team Penny PG isn't even an option. Jaylen Fisher isn't gonna be a Tiger in 2016. If Barnes can grab him and Braxton for 2016, watch out for TN to take a step in the state.

Every time I see one of your posts I invariable stop and rewatch that play in your sig a time or two. That was one of the coolest things ever.

Thanks. I understand.

With no end of year press conference, it seems like the season was just left hanging out there.

And of course no news is red meat for speculation and rumor on this board, and I will confess I count myself among the speculators, hence my request to you for news.

If Rick Pitino can coach at Louisville; anyone can coach anywhere. Arizona bypassed Pastner a bunch of times when promotions were available, even though he was instrumental on helping them land a pile of great recruits.

I'm sure he has great memories from his time there, but I highly doubt peer pressure from former teammates would stop him from taking the job. Nor should it.

Sure, it's all good. I would if I could but I can't, but mine is only one story among what is probably many.
