Yesterday on local sports radio it was reported that Tim Floyd was interviewing for the DePaul job.

Well either Tim Floyd or your local media is clueless. DePaul hired Dave Leitao two days ago to fill the vacancy. I guess a third option is that he could be interviewing to be an assistant to Leitao.

That same 'local media' made it clear DePaul had already hired someone. It was simply reported by a local newspaper that covers DePaul that Tim Floyd was one of the candidates. Nothing more. Of course that doesn't stop people from assuming Floyd interviewed for the job, wanted the job, etc. Nobody has reported that DePaul received permission from UTEP to talk to Floyd. It hasn't been reported that Floyd was interested. Nothing. Only that he was a candidate.

Tim Floyd is greatly disliked in Chicago. Doubtful he would want to go back or that DePaul even considered him. Drew and Hurley were the hot names in Chicago till they hired DL.
