That's outrageous!

What's really outrageous is that Josh has more curls in his hair than total number of wins. #funfact

brah, he is still better.

I make a point of never listening to those who say "brah" "amigo" or those who drop mics...they are always miserable and not worth my time.

Time for a new schtick amigo. Miserables is so 2014.

Drops mic.

It's so 2005...when the same types wanted Calipari fired for not making the NCAAs and averaging under 10k

I agree, they/you really need a new shtick.

Yeah and you do too! Cant go 2 posts without using the word miserable. Pot meet kettle.

People that give up season tickets are not fans in my opinion. They seek to be entertained.

I am a fan. I will there. I have two degrees from Memphis and it is now, has been, and always will be my school.

Those that don't renew are wimps and should hang out a dog track, because they want a cheap thrill. Maybe the dog will catch the rabbit and you can jump up and cheer. You might even hit the big Q. So go away and don't buy tickets.. you are NOT a fan. Just a wimp.

If he were anything to get excited about, many on this board would finally be over on their board talking about it.

Apples and oranges, bubba. The 2005 team missed the tournament in what many thought was a snub after losing the conference championship game to a top five ranked Final Four team by a point. Remind me again what happened to the Tigers this year, and then tell me how everyone better watch out for us next year. No, if you're not feeling miserable about where we are now, you're the one who needs a change.

Barnes doesn't do much to excite but he's a good hire for Tennessee.

Barnes and Pearl will make Cal leave KY in less that three years.

I don't understand why the OP thought starting this thread was cute or original.

When has Memphis hired a better coach than Tennessee?

Quality point.
I will say that in terms of actual coaching, in game coaching, it's just tough to top Pearl. But I hear ya.

We include in that period two coaches that got us on probation and wiped two of our best achievements off the map and a wife beater.

Last time I checked the vols have the win edge on us in straight up competition. And more recent success in the NCAA.

UT has the misfortune of hiring an AD who has a knack for choosing coaches destined for bad headlines in next weeks paper.

Don't bet on it. Calipari will remain King of recruiting. Pearl will make some noise and may end up best in the west, but UK will be the premier SEC BB school as long as Calipari is there (maybe another 3 to 4 years). Barnes will be lucky to make it 3 years at UT.

I would rather have Pastner than Barnes, at this point in both of their respective careers.
