RE: Quarterback Commit/Hunt Ankle Surgery
Man, I read that as "QB commit hurt, ankle surgery" the first time through. I thought Mitch Guad? already got hurt. Given our QB situation last year I guess the misread was understandable.

Again, the Blade (the former Toledo Blade) does a poor job of editing. The name of the lineman who switched from defense to offense is Atariwa not Atwaria.

Kisner is more of a Macon type QB. I would guess he ends up a WR or DB.

Yeah, I may be wrong, but I got the impression he was being recruited as an athlete, and not specifically a QB. There was a report a little bit ago that UT offered this kid too - in both FB & BB:

6'7" 235# QB. That would be some sight in blue and gold.

It's not irony that he is compared to Ben R and Ben R came from the MAC.

RE: Quarterback Commit/Hunt Ankle Surgery
whoa...that kid is special. Don't think the competition was all that good, but as a junior and throwing with the accuracy with a mere flip of the ball is amazing. I don't want to look it up, but I'm guessing he is playing Division 3 or maybe 2 in Michigan. Has to generate some gaudy numbers if that is the case. If it is Division 1 and they were runners up, then this would be a huge get. So difficult to assess in these videos when he is playing against 5'8" and 190 pound linebackers.

Lansing Catholic is Division 5. Which isn't bad football, just smaller schools (30-50 guys on the team) Not as small as that QB who de-committed from us to go to Wake Forest.

Lansing CC is Division 5 (out of 8 for out of state folks, with D 1 being the biggest), but they play in the Lansing Capital Conference and are usually the smallest school in that league.

Btw, the Lansing Capital Conference produced some guy named Magic Johnson........
