North Dakota State

And I'm only half joking, they could step right up to FBS and win big like Marshall (imagine if they had stepped up with Randy Moss). And they regularly make the Dance.

Cincinnati and Connecticut or....

Cincinnati and Memphis

Don't see them adding another Texas school or going west.

Texas fans have no idea what its like to be tired of losing. I'd love to underachieve by making the Tournament and not much else every year.

That said, it was past time to let go of Barnes.

The solution for that is play better, not expansion.

Yeah, because all of those schools regularly make the Elite 8 and/or the College Football Playoffs.

I'm glad that the schools do not overreact like the fans of schools do....

Well.....

TCU's looking like a good bet to get the L10 to Omaha at least.

Not surprising when the conference flagship program is Baylor. 05-stirthepot

That would have worked this season. Next season - who knows at this point?

Well, these things probably run in cycles. It seems a distant past that people were chirping on the Big 10.

Who knows, maybe a Big 12 team will get down to a third quarterback... then go out and kick all other P5 butt.

I'd take my chances most years with those two.

The point, however, is that there isn't any school not already in a power conference that would improve the Big 12 in either sport.
