Another retread is now available
St. John's Director of Athletics Chris Monasch announced Friday that Steve Lavin and the University have mutually agreed to part ways after five seasons leading the men's basketball program. A national search for his successor is underway.
Lavin won 21 games and went to the NCAA tournament this season. I'd "settle" for that.

Wow! St. John's has been down for a while, since way before Lavin became the coach there. You would think that 21 wins and an NCAA bid would feel pretty good to them.

Lavin seems like a big city guy. Still, maybe he would like being out of the LA/NY spotlight for awhile and come to our nice little city and our low pressure job. He could live quite nicely in Little Rock off his St. Johns buyout no matter what we pay him. Don't know unless you ask.
