Great for obvious reasons. Also a good message for the kids we are talking to about that last roster spot or two.

These guys have the Cats checking in at #16 on their too early preseason top 25.
The American has three top 25 teams in that list.
SMU at #12, Cincy at #16, and Tulsa at #24. I expect those three teams to make the tournament next season plus at least one from UConn, Temple, and Memphis. Most likely the American will have 4 NCAA tournament teams and two NIT teams in an "up" year.

I think Tulsa will not be as strong next year. Temple has a good mix of returnees and some incoming transfers and freshmen to make them a formidable threat.

Didn't Tulsa lose a bunch of seniors this year?

I think their entire team was juniors that Manning brought in together. They have one more year together (kinda like that year Lavin took over at St. John's with 9 seniors) before they are forced to basically start completely over.
I think Temple and UConn will both be better than Tulsa. I really have no idea what to think about Memphis.

RE: Welcome back Mick
Haith will have his work cut out for him. I thought they had a pretty decent team this year, just needed a couple more name wins.
Memphis like us, had a lot of new players this year, and doesn't lose much. So, they'll be deep next season. Gotta count on our depth developing better than theirs, also on Cronin being better in game than Pastner.
UConn is going to have a very hard time, barring a major transfer, being very good next year. Boatright for the most part was that team. They have pieces but without a successor for him, I'm not seeing them as being much of a threat.
Temple will go back to being Temple. A solid team with a solid coach and SMU will be a pain in the neck.
If I had to guess: UC, SMU, Memphis and maybe Temple get in the tourney. I'll say ECU, may be a surprise team next season. They keep a lot of pieces and add a couple JUCO's. I won't say they'll be in the dance or even the NIT but I think they'll be much better next season.

You're right. 10 of the 14 roster players will be seniors next year, including Haith's son. Yikes! Me thinks old Frank will be beating feet come March 2016.
