Only if they are immediately eligible.

Why would we want Mostella - he averaged 3 ppg.

I'd rather have Punter and Hubbs.

Just this month, NCAA has eliminated immediate eligible "hardship" transfer waivers so all non-graduate transfers will have to sit out a year in all major sports.

Only those 5th year players with a season still eligible that have already graduated at their current institution, can transfer and play immediately if other institution offers grad courses not available at their current Univ.

They do get an extra year though.

They could still pull a Penn St ruling and allow those to transfer and immediately be eligible.

RE: Maybe Hubbs and Monstella would want to transfer to Memphis
Whoever Pastner gets will be 'great' until they get here. Then it will take time for all the new faces to 'gel' then someone will be unhappy. We'll have the usual round of suspensions and 'injuries'. It's really rare for a player to show up and be great in year 1.... it does happen but it's rare. JUCOs and freshmen usually need a year to adjust.

Next season will be no different. We'll be better for sure but not great or elite; probably an NCAA bubble team and get a 7-10 seed.

The we'll lose Kedren, Shaq, Burrell and probably Nichols and be right back to another 'rebuilding' year.

It's gonna be awesome. Can somebody please lock Pastner up with a lifetime contract?

Yeah right he would be fighting for mins with who Avery Woodson? He would play big mins here we have two guards Crawford and Kedren. If Woodson is not hitting threes he is just a liability. He can't guard or do anything else but spot up and shoot. Hubbs would play herd but it's a mute point he's not coming here.

Have you seen him play? You think he's a better option than Markel or even Avery?
