Rob Gray
Per Juco Junction:

Quote:Rob Gray | Howard College

Rob Gray, a 6’2 combo guard at Howard College, recently visited Texas Tech and will take two more visits to Tennessee and Memphis. Gray averaged 18.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and nearly 3 assists per game this season as a JC freshman. He will have three years to play at the next level.

Gray begins his official visit to Tennessee tomorrow and will take an official visit to Memphis the weekend after the Final Four. Gray hasn’t announced that these are his final three schools, but it seems pretty clear that these three are his current leaders.

Quote:Rob Gray's plan pays off with Tech offer

Rob Gray’s bet on himself appears to have paid off.

The Howard College redshirt freshman received offers from mid-major programs such as Appalachian State and Elon coming out of (Orlando,

Fla.) West Oaks Academy in 2013, but he chose to attend Howard College in an effort to earn better offers.

He achieved his goal, earning ones from Tennessee and Texas Tech and receiving interest from Colorado, Georgia Tech and Memphis. His from the Red Raiders came Feb. 9 after Red Raiders coach Tubby Smith watch Gray play against South Plains and Clarendon.

How many 4-stars were from Laurenburg Prep?

Pastner now has both Lawson's, Shaq and Austin....which is NOT a down trend.

The Nattering Nabobs of Negativism (coined by Pat Buchanan) appears to fit the majority of clueless posters here.

We are now stocking our roster with talent that fits Texas tech and Tennessee? All Pastner has shown he can do is recruit and it's starting to look like that is really tailing off

RE: Rob Gray
Well, it was said the leaders for Gray were TN, TTECH and Memphis.

That was before Tyndall got fired.

And now TTECH got its JUCO G:

@JucoRecruiting · 2015 Cloud County CC PG Devon Thomas announced that he has committed to Texas Tech

Should be a no brainer, huh?

More importantly:

Another "combo" guard that is much more of a scorer than distributor.

Averaged 18 ppg with "nearly" 3 assists a game.

I think BigBoob is the only "no brainer" in this thread.

It would be nice if we could recruit more guys that have a defined position on the court.

And it's easier to know your role if you play consistent minutes.

23 mpg one night, 7 another, a DNP, followed by another 20+ mpg.

Hard to know what is expected of you.
