At least 5 of the 7 runs have been gifted by us. Let's not forget this inning would have ended 3 - 0 had Williamson not been so lackadaisical on his throw to 1B on a 2-out hit back to the mound.

Amazing how he could be so dominant his first 3 weeks of the season, and so bad ever since.

The game tracker shows us with 4 runs, but only 3 runs in the play-by-play?
ETA: Never mind, it's caught up.

Gray leadoff single.
Teykl flied out to RF.
Kopycinski singles. Runners on 1B and 2B, one out.
Chandler single to CF, but we hold the runner. Right thing to do given up much we're down. Bases loaded, one out.
Stainback sac fly. 02-13-banana Runners on 1B and 2B, two outs.
Byrd hit soft roller to 1B, but E-1 loads the bases. Two outs.
Reeves 2-RBI single! 02-13-banana 02-13-banana Runners on 1B and 2B, two outs.
Taylor bloop RBI single up the middle. 02-13-banana That was really misplayed by the middle infielders of SHS...but we'll take it!
RHP Church (8 app, 1.60 ERA, .200 BAA, 10.0 IP, 2 BBs, 9 Ks)now pitching for Sam. He's been very good, but odd they're going with another RHP...
Warren walks to reload the bases with two outs.
Gray ground out with the throw just barely getting Tristan at 1B.
Some signs of life at least; hopefully it's not too late. If we're to have any hope, we have to stop gifting them any more runs.

Down 4-7 heading to the bottom of the fifth inning.

Graham said at ODU that McCarthy came out of the game injured.

Go walk the dogs and we are down another net run. Still plenty of game left. In a battle of bullpens, I like Rice's over SHSU.

Now Austin falls behind 3-0. He cannot find the strikezone. PLEASE do not waste any of our other quality relievers this game...or we're going to turn one nightmairish game into a potentially bad weekend, which we can ill-afford.

Orewiler reloads the bases with another walk.

You can only win the game you are playing. I say go for it. The pitching staff is hardly overworked, in my opinion.

I thought there was speculation that Stevens would get the Sunday start? I thought I had read something along those lines?

I have missed much and seen nothing, but it seems Cubby has hung in there during a couple of plays at the plate tonight?

Yup, but Orewiler is killing himself by hitting the batter ahead in the count 1-2. No command of his pitches whatsoever.
