https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYbbpwo...3ygPpruJ1w

I saw part of Houston-Georgetown, Houston-North Carolina (1982) as well as Magic-Larry i.e. Indiana State-Michigan State.

Here's a classic ETSU beating Arizona in the 1992 tournament.

I know one thing seeing just the still pictures from these- I despise how the NCAA has just made all the courts in the NCAA tournament all the same.

Yeah but some of the court designs had gotten outrageous.

Iowa State's epic choke against Hampton. I saw it live on TV and will never forget it.

That was an unforgettable day in Boise, every game came down to the wire. The combined margin of victory was 7 points for the four games.

RE: Classic March Madness/NCAA on Demand
Bryce Drew's game-winning buzzer-beater for Valpo.

I didn't remember, until I watched this, that Drew had a 3-point shot that would have given Valpo the lead with 6 seconds left, and missed it. Valpo fouled on the rebound, Ole Miss missed both free throws at the other end, an Ole Miss player got a hand on the rebound and lost it out of bounds to Valpo, giving them 2.5 seconds to go full-court for Drew's game-winner.

Go to about 1:19:42 on the video to get the last sequence.

LOL

Back to post number 2, Mike Davis gave the most classic reaction when Jay Williams made the 3 on the would be 4-point play late. It's what you live for.

Amazing ! You kind of Forget HOW GOOD many of those players really were. A lot of folks didn't even have VCR's back then so You couldn't keep track of every tournament game even and if it wasn't on your regions station, You missed out. Watching the 1983 Louisville and Houston match up in a Mile High arena is priceless even though the outcome didn't go My way, just seeing The future 1986 NCAA Champions going up against Phi Slama Jama in the Semi Finals for the first time since 1983 is fantastic. Thanks for finding this !

Not the closest a 16 has come to beating a 1 but not far off and UNC had some really good, NBA players.

Closest a 16 has come to beating a 1 is Princeton-Georgetown, IIRC.

And OU against ETSU. Purdue also had trouble with one of the directional Carolina's as well.

Today's the 25th anniversary of UNLV's 103-73 win over Duke in the national championship. Still remains the largest margin of victory in a title game. At the 1:09:12 mark you can hear the crowd chanting "Big West! Big West!" 04-rock

RE: Classic March Madness/NCAA on Demand
Looking at the last 35 seconds of this game, you have to ask , was J.P. Bautista paid off by someone? Just kidding but there were so many moments that he cost them big time.

EDIT: I forgot to post the game:
