WKU's 1st season in CUSA
I know we still have spring sports to finish, but just wondering on what other conference fans thought of what WKU has brought to CUSA in first season? Was it more than you expected, worse, etc? Worth the final bid in to CUSA? Impressions with fan interactions, fans traveling, fan base as a whole, facilities? More than you expected, less? Just trying to get a gauge on how everyone thought we did in first season....

For me, a little disappointed in men's basketball, but I really think we held our own first season in new league...Softball looks poised to make a run and baseball is better than I expected this season for WKU...

RE: WKU's 1st season in CUSA
For me it was mediocre. I think Odu made a better impression seeing that it was their first season playing D1 football. I liked their qb but at the beginning of the season it got tiresome listening to his fans rave about him. Yes, he was good but he wasn't that good. To me his talent was worth what Ootsa got from Soza. If it wasn't for him they wouldn't have won so many games.

Your poll isn't very good. I voted meh but I would have to admit that it was a little higher than meh. I liked your qb and I'm not glad he's coming back. The schools that everyone thought would really be meh, were, Fiu and Fau. Those two are the only ones that "I" think should have not gotten an invite. They bring nothing. Schools with more than 40k attendance SHOULD be leading the conference in both sports that matter in attendance. But. Crickets.

Aside from the fact that you costs us a lot of money by beating Marshall, you were fine.

Somewhere between "Yes, Very Impressed" and "Just Blah".

Where's the "what was expected" label? I guess that would fall in the "Blah" realm?

You definitely need something between "very impressed" and "just blah". I was forced to go "just blah" when that is actually lower than what I thought. Frankly, I think both the Toppers and the Monarchs are good fits for this conference who will rep strongly over the years.

I couldn't be any happier with ODU and WKU. Basketball specifically, both teams brought championship caliber play.

Yeah, it wasn't exceptionally outstanding but it wasn't mediocre either. I think you guys fit right in pretty well at near the top of the league in most sports.

I like WKU and glad we have you guys in the conference.

I will say that I am extremely disappointed with the lack of fans that both MTSU and WKU have brought to Huntington.

Honestly expected both of you to bring double of what you did.

Just blah is what I think of polls like this. So that's how I voted. WKU is a good conference mate but these threads come off as needy. It's the "Does this dress make me look fat?" of threads. You already know if you're fat or not.

Was not intended to be that way, just wanted to know what other CUSA schools thought of WKU and their first season is all....Could have done a better job labeling poll, but did not want to delete entire thread....Sorry ODUDRunk never makes mistakes on here that I do...

You cannot post anything or do anything now a days without someone criticizing if it did not suit them just right..Get over it...Nothing scientific here or "look at me type poll", just honest curiosity on what other fans saw this season from WKU..If you did not like it, than don't read or post.....

As young guns has stated on here, no one is going to travel with WKU who has the money to do so, unless its a destination town especially with it being Valentines Day and snowing..I wanted to go to football game but did not work out with timing this year, hopefully I will make trip over to Huntington soon for football or basketball...

As far as impressions, I will add our women's team had unbelievable years in volleyball and basketball....Softball off to a good start, but I understand women's programs do not add nationally to conferences like men's programs do....

The WKU game was the morning of BLACK FRIDAY! And I think it snowed overnight , considering I thought WKU brought a respectable crowd

I'd like an option of "Impressed." I'm neither very impressed nor just blah, rather just impressed.
