He has the nerve to call our conference a mid major and the Big East a major, laugh out loud.
Seems like you could be two faced????

Do you have a link? Also, I think quo has been pretty consistent about this, suggesting that, from the perspective of the powers that be, the Big East is considered a major conference while the AAC now 2 years in a row has been treated like the MVC.

He is a troll and everyone knows him. We don't need a thread to bring in to the board

I don't know how to copy and paste on my phone but if you go to the Big East Board you'll see you posted that about us

FWIW, this is what I posted:

"No question, our R32 flop is a BAD thing. Might cause the selection committee and power conferences to start regarding us as mid-major, like the AAC and MWC, rather than as a "major", the way they have up to this point.

Saturday was the worst day in Big East basketball history, no doubt about it. We can only hope real damage hasn't been done to our rep going forward."

And I believe that is true: Last year and this year, the Selection Committee has treated the AAC as a Mid-Major while treating the Big East as a "major", essentially a 6th Power conference. The objective evidence - # of bids, and seeding, makes this pretty clear, whether you like it or not.

Essentially, the Big East has been treated by the P5 in basketball like the AAC wishes it was treated in football, as a quasi-Major.

But as you can see, my post is in no way a glorification of the Big East. I admit we have flopped in the tournament, and fear that if we keep underperforming we will lose that shine and drop down to AAC/MWC mid-major status in P5 eyes.
