Apps up 8-4 on Wake Forest after 6. Apps going for the season sweep.

Eagles top Jacksonville 9-4

For the 2nd night in a row our offense showed up in a big way with 14 hits. Last night vs. Kennessaw we had 18. Our midweek pitching, while not great, has at least given us a lift over the last 2 days. Tonight we saw our centerfielder get his first pitching opportunity of the year. He threw 3 innings of shutout ball-- not bad at all.

Next 2 weekends will tell me alot about our chances to win the league this year. At Texas St. this coming weekend and at Louisiana next weekend. I would be very happy if we can go 3-3 over those 6 games.

League went 1-6 today...

Yes

Gave up seven runs in the eighth to lose 11-8 to Wake Forest at home. Horrible loss. RF dropped two fly-outs with two outs. If he makes either catch, App probably wins the game. Coach said players have to look themselves in the mirror and decide if they want to be part of this or not. Coach should follow his own advice.

The 700-mile bus ride to Little Rock tomorrow should be some quality together time.

Not a good year for the belt..at least we have the MAC keeping us being dead last among the g5s in the big 3 sports...

RJ Williams had a tough day for UTA. He hit into a 5-2 double play when there were no outs and the bases loaded with UTA trailing by four. They don't score a run. Then comes to the plate in the ninth with the tying run at second and instead is the final out.

yes west virginia game should have been a win for us. the team is hard to figure. we beat ranked teams and then dont follow up with wins over teams we should beat.
