The NDA means his career is over since he can't make the claim that he was coerced. Ray Watts will be so toxic that not even the bama people will want him to work for them in any capacity.

That brings up a good point. TO ME, it seems like Watts has an ego that won't sign an NDA. They let the dog loose but now it seems they have to figure out how to put him on a chain without getting bit.

To sign an NDA would mean he can't defend himself after it all goes down. If he's this bullheaded now, image how he will be when he's told to sign the NDA and never speak of it again. A man of his stature and ego being made to take the swords and arrows while his name is being sullied.

Watts appears to have followed the BOT's orders. I doubt he will disobey them now. However, it would be great if he did.

I could see his PR people right now. "Ray! What are you doing Ray?!" "That's not what you are supposed to say."

Yep. He could be set financially for the remainder of his life but he will always be considered the one responsible.

I want Ray Watts to have to answer the question "Hey are you the guy that got fired by the students, staff & alumni at UAB ?" every time he walks into a new patient's room.

Watts should have realized before taking the job and promising to do the their bidding that the BOT uses UAB Presidents like expensive Kleenex.

Also, your teacher's retirement payout is calculated based on the salary you make the last three years that qualify, so Watts is gonna be hella expensive. Thank goodness he's old.

Or, for any public event in which he speaks, answers questions, etc. This needs to be wrapped around his neck like a dead chicken to a dog that kills them. He deserves the fruits of his labor: OUR PERSISTENT DISDAIN...

Oh, I don't think there will be any shortage of disdain in UAB circles. If he moves to some other state it will lessen a bit.

I suggest Alaska.

I hope this is the Watts family legacy. I hope he will be sad as his grandchildren have bear the burden of his misdeeds and malfeasance. I know my 20 something year old kids will never forget. Sad that his grandkids will be associated genetically with his reputation as a liar.

You know who I really feel sorry for? His wife. In less than six months she's gone from top of the social heap to married to Judas. Money and comfort is not worth what she's living with.

Exactly. If anything Watts is a bigger piece of **** because he did all of this without concern to even his family.
