All of life seems to be a stage for reality shows and videos. This is about as sick as it gets. I am so glad this is not my generation.

Oh god shut up. Back in your day cops sent you home drunk in your car. Back in your day the violent crime rate was higher than today. Drug use was higher. Racism was worse. Sexism was worse. Old people are delusional.

If it makes you feel better I'm sure my generation will become delusional too when we get scared of change. The sad cycle of life...

Yeah plus there was this thing called the Military Draft during the Vietnam War vs the Volunteer Military the nation has now.

Yes, we live in such a great society today! Lower crime rate, lower drug use, less racism and sexism. Yep, that's the wonderful world we live in today. That, together with less terrorism, I suppose. Thanks for the revelation. Now I don't ever need to watch and listen to the news or read a paper again. Obviously, they are all filled with lies, anyway!

The violent crime rate today is about the same as the late 1960's.

Yep that is true though I dont know if that would be considered DF's day or not. The crime rate today is half of what it was in 1991, and 64% of what it was in 1982 when I graduated HS.

The rise in violent crime mirrored the increased use of cocaine in the US.

Not excusing this as an example of the bystander effect, but it could very well have been. However, to say this 'is my generation' is complete bull.

I think it is fair to assume this guy was recording the drunk on his phone. Why on Earth would he not simply call the cops with that very same phone the moment the drunk starts to get into his car?

Well, I will admit this. We can now carry guns, so maybe it is better today.

I'm not anti gun, I own three, but there is a weird amount of gun craziness going on in America and this is an example of it. Bunch of wanna be military dudes rolling around hoping to use their piece one day. ...while living in one of the safest times to be alive.

Simple fact; law-abiding gun owners are better, more law abiding citizens, on the average, than the typical American.

Sounds more like the police than a private citizen who owns a firearm.

When good people with guns are disarmed, bad people with guns will show up and take their stuff.

I have always wanted to carry a sawed off shotgun like Steve McQueen had on "Wanted: Dead or Alive". I'd strap that sucker to my leg and walk tall. However, with concealed carry, I'd need to stick that thing in my pants, causing an unsightly bulge. Then again, this could be an advantage for me.

That was a "Mare's Leg" not a shotgun. Google it. They are pretty wicked/slick.

Channel 23 shows "Wanted:Dead or Alive" twice on Saturdays...

I'm sure you'll really be able to work with the phrase "Mare's Leg."

Yep, thanks. I really want one of those suckers. But now that you told me what it's called, I'm not sure which of these I'd prefer:
