Be careful what you wish for... but I think Memphis can do better than Pastner. Just hope that if he leaves, they don't screw up the hire. Who would be candidates? Ron Hunter? Steve Prohm? Michael White? Just a few good ones from the region off the top of my head.

I would be surprised if he left for ASU... Unless he knows his days are coming up it just doesn't seem like a logical move

Don't see that happening, he will get next year to prove himself, and if he can't produce some decent results, he's gone, imo.

The payout is already extremely high, and he is making a top 10 salary, or there about, so I don't see this getting him another extension/raise because another school may want him.
