ODU and La Tech both 1 win away from NIT final four.

Both games are Wednesday i believe on ESPN. Give them a watch and cheer for our conference mates. Tech has Temple, and ODU has a tough Murray State with a chip on its shoulder.

Tech/Temple faces Richmond/Miami in the semifinals while ODU/Murray St. will face the Vanderbilt/Stanford winnner

Wednesday's NIT quarterfinals are on ESPN2 since there is Not Basketball on ESPN all night.

One of the TV announcers at the ODU game said Bill Murray State had a chip on its' shoulder because it didn't get an at-large bid.

Murry State is tough but I would give ODU a chance since they are at home. I really like La. Tech's chance to make it to the NIT final four. Great post season showings by both teams.

never thought Tech would have to head back to Philly to play Temple twice in the same season

Murray St, ODU, Temple, and in some cases LaTech were all like first four out of the tourney. They should all have the same chip on their shoulder. Nobody has a monopoly on being slighted by the money men.

Temple and Murray St. both should have gotten into NCAA Tournament

Same could be said for quite a few of the NIT teams, especially the 8 left.

Looking at Murray St's resume they don't have but 1 top 100 win all season. It was a great season and they are firing on all cylinders but I hope we show them the same hospitality as last visit.

They were by far the best team in their conference tourney and lost. They are a really solid basketball team and if they come from any p5 conference, they would have made the tourney.

They wouldn't have had that record if they came from a P5 conference and that's why they got left out.

No doubt I will be watching. Congrats to both schools. Hope you both get there.

Would LOVE to see a LaTech ODU final. I'd have to give ODU the slight edge here to go further. Tech has the shooters no doubt but their lack of size can be a burden. The seniors from LaTech deserve all the access they get and I wish them the best.

Rooting for both of them to make it to New York...

ODU's chances are great since we're at home, but Trey Freeman's ankle is the big x-factor.
