Goaltending next season.
Will GT be a strong suit for us next season? Slubowski seemed to be the go-to goalie as the season went on, Hafner seemed challenged at times down the stretch. Any of you folks closest to the team worried about next season, or do I have unwarranted concerns?

Broncos have "two" pretty good tenders in the pipeline. One will for sure be coming in next year as he ages out of Juniors, the other I would think is coming in 2016/17 and I hope he gets another year if juniors under his belt, even though he is already a top 5 goalie in the USHL
Olson, a 2012 6th round NHL draft pick of the Hurricans comes from the USA NDTP and is goalie who has played "4" years of junior hockey, two with the National Program and two in the USHL with Sioux City. He also comes in with some college experience already from the college games when he was with the U18 team and he played a complete season with Ohio State University backing up All American Brady Hjelle.
At 6' 3" 215#, Olson is a big goalie that will fill up allot of the net. I'd expect him to compete/push Hafner for playing time, as he is not your typical freshman. Technically, he'll be coming in as a sophomore, but I think he only has two more years of NCAA elgibility remaining

What about Bloomburg and Bridges, two Goalies who are already on the Bronco roster? Will either of them compete for playing time?

I'm sure all the goalies will compete for playing time. Don't forget, it was only a couple of years ago when Hafner emerged as a #1 option, over taking the job from a goalie who played in every single game and was second team All CCHA the previous year, so anything is possible. Murray has proven he will go with the goalie who he thinks is preforming the best, regardless of the what a goalie may had done the previous season
On paper, I'm going to say it's Hafner's job to lose, but with Olson's previous junior track record and college experience, I would expect him to come in and challenge Hafner right away.

With the inconsistent play of our net minders I would say the job is wide open.
