While I did love the win over the College of Charleston, my favorite moments was winning the two championships in Cleveland, and last years win over Toledo after the last season loss in their house was the sweetest thing I've witnessed.
There are others that help keep this loyal Bronco fan in the stands. The win at CMU last year to clinch the number one seed. The NCAA win over Clemson in Chicago. Okay I have more than a couple, now that you got me to the recall mode.

Last year's MAC championship in Cleveland was definitely right up there. Definitely a huge thrill being on the floor with the players, their families, coaches, and other loyal Bronco fans and alums attendance was really cool. Very family-like/community atmosphere.
Like Ernie... it was the home arena and rowdy atmosphere at the CC game that puts it over the top for me. Both are like 1A and 1B to me.
We had created so much buzz during the 1975-76 year that SI sent a reporter to cover a huge home game with Miami (O)..This game set an attendance record of around 10,100....We came in from Detroit just to catch it..Loudest crowd I've ever heard at the field house...
This was the game for me...Mainly because of the wild atmosphere...I'm sure gbl remembers the game...

I was also going to suggest that the game between the Manny Newsome Broncos, versus the Howard Komives, BUGS was electric as two of the top four scorers in the nation slugged it out. I'm thinking that was 1964, but most of you are too young to remember those crowds. The whole campus was coming to the games in those days.

Regarding Ben Reed - Anyone know if he ever got his degree so he can coach D1?

Yes that was the game the Kalamazoo Fire Marshall came down on WMU. Fans were sitting in all the aisles, steps were blocked etc. Other capacity crowds did not even closely compare.
In truth WMU probably quit counting at 10,100 and then let in another 2,000 fans.

I remember 1966 WMU-ND. Close win. Reggie Lacefield and Ajac Triplett. My memory is of Ajac dribbling out the waning seconds with a 4 point lead. Nether team had a very good record.
