There's already a little green arrow you can click on to do that. It's been there all along.

can we copy the reddit feature where next to your account name is a little symbol and when it lights up that means you have unread responses to your posts. then once you click on the symbol it automatically takes you to a list of all unread responses to your post and you can simply use that list to post replies?

Anyway we can get people to verify their accounts through text message or something similar? Too many double aliases on the AAC board these days.

I'd rather just make it thumbs up and nix the thumbs down. All it's going to do is be abused like reps were and we mods will end up cleaning it up.

+1. No need for negative reps (or thumbs down), IMO. If you have nothing positive to say, keep you mouth shut!

Can we have a whiner/griper/complainer rating for the overly sensitive bunch?

Btw, Bit, thanks for pointing out that green arrow. Amazing.

Please remove this anywhere that is applicable:

Maybe there's a reason, but I just think that now days it should just go instantly, instead of forcing a user click to get where needed faster.

Either implement the CSN press box and CSN wiki features, or just drop them altogether from the dropdown menus. I've mentioned I would love to help edit a nice CSN wiki with some nice historical statistics on college sports. But I get kind of tired hitting that link and seeing the Gulch Industries graphic.

Anyway we can hand out 3 day "mutes" for posters who constantly belittle other teams/fans/schools? Every day I log on and read about how crappy my school is, how worthless our athletics are, and how annoying our fanbase is (which is true sometimes- those annoying posters should get the mute every now and then). It gets tiring. Everything is taken as a slight, because there are so many slights being thrown around. We have these great VAA boards that no one uses because they get their jollies on the main boards.

I second this idea, but would like exemptions for schools that legitimately should be belittled such as ECU03-nutkick

I could see the thumbs up only options being favorably accepted.

No point of thumbs up without a balancing thumbs down. Either do it all the way or don't do it at all.

Why throw possible positive posts to a thumb button while leaving all the negatives within the thread? The negativity level needs to be brought in line, not enhanced.

blazerjay, we've had so many problems with rep wars that giving folks another way to bomb folks isn't productive. Thumbs up is good enough. If nobody approves of a post, it won't get any thumbs up.

Since in the real world their are more idiots than enlightened folks, all a thumbs down feature proves is that morons don't like unpopular ideas. I prefer the Cowboy philosophy when it comes to the herd mentality. "Don't travel with the herd as they are always being led to the slaughter."

What's really needed is a jump link from the bottom of a thread page to any point in the navigation path (top of forum (back to forum topics list), csnbbs home page, etc.).

In other words, put this: CSNbbs / Active Boards / Lounge / Board Tech Support
at the bottom as well as the top.

It is quite annoying to get to the bottom and then have to scroll back up every time to continue navigating.

Please?!

I realize now it depends on whether you are logged in or not. If browsing as Guest, it is not there. I don't know why they wouldn't want it there regardless.
