Spring Football? Updates?
The spring game isn't too far away. Any thoughts on how the newcomers and redshirt frosh are looking? Looks like the defense is attempting to get faster and more team speed.

RE: Spring Football? Updates?
I'm equally interested in who will be playing in the alumni flag football game that will take place before the spring game.

RE: Spring Football? Updates?
I'm honestly shocked at the lack of news or progress regarding the spring practices. I know there are posters here on this board that follow the football program closely. Practice will end on April 4 and there seems to be zero chatter. Nothing from the Echo etc.

Dear DexterDevil,
Spring game is April 4th, and I believe at 3:00 p.m.

RE: Spring Football? Updates?
I thought Coach said on signing day he would be releasing the preferred walk on list as well as late signees. No announcement yet.

Maybe late signees are not final.
JUCOs need to graduate, graduate eligible transfers have to complete their studies, etc.
This is a slow process which presumably could extend into June (ala men's basketball of 2014).
Wrong thread, but we have Heady's scholarship to give if Verdi wants.
So we'll be watching FB, men's and women's hoops. :)

Nu Pudg carried a lot of the excitement for football.
Without him. x 3

Why mention Heady? She died. What a gross attempt at a joke, Steve.

Excitement from a guy who had nothing invested in EMU football, just kind of a random fan? It's always amazed me how EMU alumni never value or take care of their own.

What are you talking about?????
You, of all people, should know that in recruiting they refer to a player's scholarship.
If Johnny Point Guard leaves the program, the coaches will say "what should we do with Johnny's scholarship?"
Heady was not a senior if I'm correct, therefore her scholarship becomes available to be given out next month as a new LOI.
Heady was a junior correct?

Who is a random football fan? Nu Pudge?
Are you serious? Do you know who he is? He was not a random fan...
He had more invested in this team then almost anyone here (with a few exceptions).

Sir, if you would spend time here, and not wherever you spend your posting time, you would know that I lead the effort to raise money for those '32' shirts which the women wore.
Half of those dollars and most of the leg work was mine.
I would think that me of all people would be the last to harm her memory, actually quite the contrary. See other recent threads.
Thank you.

Great, but your comment is still really inappropriate. Your previous efforts don’t make your comment less offensive. You need to think more, brag about your humanity less.

I have 38 years invested in EMU football and basketball and I'm only 47 years old. I think I might have more.

Absolutely not. It is the way coaches talk.
Last year it was the Combs scholarship that became open.

Disagree. Combs didn't die, Heady did. It is at best, insensitive.
