Tournament isn't over yet. They aren't even bothering to speed dial each other let alone talk realignment until it is.

RE: Realignment?
All I can say is that ND going out and scheduling MAC teams for 2018 and beyond means that the rumor of ND joining the ACC all sports is not true.
The most likely movement by the end of the decade is if UConn is tired of the AAC and decides to join up with the BE when the exit fees run out and the AAC TV contract is up.
Movement is most likely from G5 schools either getting into the P5 tier or closer to it like BYU was able to do by going independent.
BE TV deal at a look in with UConn included might be worth 7-8 million. Then UConn can pick up a BYU type deal for its FB games in addition to that for true tweener dollars.

It was kind of a dumb rumor from the beginning.

ND needs at least one home chump every year.
Even if they upped the number of games they played in the ACC, the still need to one home chump. The SEC is playing two home chumps for the most part and the ACC is averaging 1.5 home chumps out in the future despite playing more P-5 games than anyone else.
The B10 is not going to be successful in making the SEC drop its chumps, and they don't drop them the ACC, B12, and P12 will not.

The way the ND to ACC all sports rumor was stated was that ND was going to keep Stanford, USC, Navy and one slot for an interesting series to play with like Texas or BYU.
With Ball State populating the 2018 schedule for ND, that is completely inconsistent with the proposal of ND's non-conference games as an all sport member to the ACC.

It's always better to engage in a positive sum game vs a negative sum game. I have always believed in that.

What matters is whom is doing the adding and subtracting.
