RE: UC vs UK Post Game Videos
The difference in the game was not the free-throw line. The difference in the game is that Kentucky is taller, has more skills, better shooters, and had a tremendous home-court advantage. They also turned the ball over less than Cincinnati did. So to suggest that if we made a few more free throws that we win the game is incorrect. But that does not detract from the excellent effort of the Bearcat team. But let's give credit to Kentucky. They beat us fair and square and a 13 point margin is not close.

At what time in the second half did KY have 7 fouls? How many were called after that until the last couple of minutes. I think the coach is ref: in the number of attempts taken when both teams are playing physically.

RE: UC vs UK Post Game Videos
UK was allowed to go over the back repeatedly. No call.
UK was allowed to slap and bump when UC was driving the ball to the basket. Very few calls.
A few more take and made FTs would've kept the game tighter, longer. It was only 7 at the 8 min mark. Add just 4 made FTs for UC and that is a one possession game heading down the home stretch.
UK was frustrated when they couldn't easily put UC away.
The longer the game had stayed tighter the better UC's chances.

Too much of a talent gap, but damn our guys played hard. They did all they could. We just couldn't score enough.

Only a few teams played Kentucky this close this year. Florida, Louisville and Texas.

There's no doubt that UK had more raw talent, but the last 2 minutes of the first half really cost UC - they dug a hole that was impossible to get out of.

Yes, UK had a home advantage - and with it go the calls but UC played them close and, if we would've made some shots and calls made, maybe things would've been different.

Overall, I was impressed and proud of the effort UC gave - there's no shame here.

We were out gunned but played with tremendous heart and toughness. We slowed the game down and forced Bearcat Basketball onto the vaunted UK squad. We just didnt have the fire power to beat them.

Hats off to UC...great year all in all.

and we still have the Purdue game to keep smiles on our faces in the off season.
