Cincinnati has only been to the Sweet 16 four times since the 1992 Final Four run, only 3 times since 1993 and only twice since the turn of the century. They've had some great teams, some 30-win teams even, and players over the years (Steve Logan, Kenyon Martin, etc...). I'm a little surprised how little they advance deep, its kinda like Gonzaga except UC had some monsters over the years the Zags could only dream of.

Oh, and the all-time series between Cincy and UH is 25-1 in favor of Cincinnati. Yes, 25 wins for UC, and just one win for Houston. Meanwhile, Houston in the last 25 years has done what?

Not at all, just an observation. It's a little surprising considering how good UC has been over the last quarter century. And yes, I knew about the all-time series record and even pointed it out earlier this season.

I don't have to like UC to respect UC. 10 other teams in the league this year could not accomplish what they did.

Yeah, they're in the Dance every year and even win a game most of the time, not much to hate or not respect. I just thought I see more deep advances in the Tournament given how many great teams and players they've had.

OK, here is a good thread, with how good ECU fans think their football team has been over the last couple decades, it surprises me that they have only won 10 games what twice? What do you think is the problem there? Let's discuss.

I'm sorry, I should have said won 10 games only twice in their existence, but let's make a thread out of it and discuss. Cause I know how good they have been, how they beat many p5 teams, so its so surprising they never get double digit wins. I'll start a thread.

Someone bump that "What can we do to bring AAC fans together" thread, so I can add something to it -- Don't lose your sh*t every time another AAC school's fan makes an observation about your school, nor immediately resort to a d*ck measuring contest.

UC is not the first team I've said something about, be it good or bad, I just watch college sports (I spend as much time on the realignment board as this one). I actually respect UC a lot and liked the teams under Huggins--okay, I hated them while UH was in C-USA but still rooted for them often come March. I wanted to see that Logan team go to the Final Four and was disappointed when they lost to UCLA back in '02.

You must understand that the UC fans, for the most part, that you will interact with on this board are in no way subjective. Nothing other than that. They have a very strong program that has done very well recently in both basketball and football. They firmly believe that they are the victims of some seriously evil conspiracy that has somehow doomed them to the abjectly horrible and definitely cursed AAC...a terrible conference that is filled with teams that have no future and no way to come close to measuring up to UC's greatness (most notably not those stuffed-shirts from UCONN who have absolutely no pedigree because unlike UC, they haven't gone dancing almost every year for the past 20 seasons...they just have had the gall to win a bunch once getting there).

Having said that, what college sports fan isn't irrationally supportive of their program (I'll leave this spot open for Tulane fans to give us just one, maybe two reasons this applies to them)?
