Accomplished more than anyone expected. Probably biggest in- season turn around ever.

So proud.

How can you not be?

They grew so much this year. We're going to be hell on wheels next year.

Extremely proud as well. No one thought we would be where we were. You can see the pain on the face of these players. I hope they are hungry and come out gunning next season. This is just the beginning for these guys.

Seeing the emotions from those guys after the game--they care about this program. Shows Haase is rubbing off on them. What a great end to the season.

Going into next season, we need to clean up the WTF losses and road games. Expectations just went up. A reasonable goal would be a 22-9 season and Top 50 RPI.

Absolutely. I'm disappointed in today's result, of course, but still happy for the team. And they got their chance to make a little noise, which is always fun. Free UAB and Go Blazers

I'm a little down after the loss, but the guys showing so much resolve to even make it to this point is way more than enough for me to bounce back. The future is really bright.

Let's quit BS'ing. The future is not bright if we are playing in the A-Sun or somewhere else.

Haase will not stick around 2 more years with Watts as president.

Yes things could be bright if outside factors weren't involved.

& now is the time for you to whine about me bringing up outside stuff & not focusing on the achievements.

We are fortunate to have a team like we have playing in CUSA. Without CUSA or being in a lesser league this was our last glory.

RE: Oh well. Extremely proud of this team.
No one thought this team had a chance to do much. They played themselves through a tough early season and learned to depend on each other and to trust their coaching. They turned the corner and had a very nice second half. Winning the conference tournament was sweet, and so was winning in the dance.

They have the taste in their mouths, and they'll want more. Next season they'll be a year bigger and stronger, and they'll be experienced. We look set for good things to come.

Good job, you guys. We really needed something good to happen with all the turmoil, and this team was just what we needed.

I will continue to support them and look for the bright side no matter what conference they are in. Even the A Sun isn't the end of the world.

And it isn't the end of the story either. We won't stay down, football won't be gone forever and we won't be in a lower conference forever.

It's a bright future that these players and staff deserve to see through. All of UAB can prosper in the same way - in arts and sciences just like athletics - if it's allowed to do so. Very proud of them: it's more proof that UAB is worth fighting for.

They did their part. Now it's our turn. We fight.
