RE: Roster Changes
Nice info. My only concern is that sometime certain body types aren't built to carry the additional pounds. Could lead to injuries potentially....who knows. Definitely some impressive results though. I used to complain during prior Coaching eras that we never seemed to see this type of growth or physical development. Hopefully bodes well.

RE: Roster Changes
Should be mentioned that there are probably guys that re-shaped their bodies, but didn't gain/lose much weight. Those go unnoticed on paper, but I'm sure they'll be noticeable in uniform.

They didn't update those gains last year, so your not actually looking at as dramatic of gains as they appear

6'5", 243...sounds like a TE.

Is there a madness to this method?

I think it had to do with Matt Kanan leaving. Maybe not enough resources?

RE: Roster Changes
Stewart at 243 was intriguing to see. 6'5" 243 lbs. That's a big dude. Another Big Ben type?

Also Jimmy Kristof at 320. That guy is going to be a monster. I love that Chukes is well over 300, too. If he maintains his athleticism and footwork, he could be the best OT in the MAC.

He'll make a great tight end.

Yep. Half-way to bringing drunk girls at the club into a men's room stall to have some fun, halfway against her will! He needs to grow a scruffy, unclean beard, too.

"We're going to let him do everything he can to be a quarterback here," Fleck said. "We'll handle that if it ever comes up down the road. Chance is a quarterback right now and we're focused on making him the best quarterback he can be."

That says it all for me.

Yep. Interestingly vague statements. Terrell has solidified his spot at QB and we have an embarrassment of riches at the position. Guess we'll see what happens...

RE: Roster Changes
I remember when Jay Riemersma was a stud high school quarterback at Zeeland High. We wanted him bad but he ended up at Michigan. They converted him to TE and the rest is history.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out

RE: Roster Changes
I believe Fleck when he says he'll give CS every chance to be THE man at QB. There is just so much talent there. But he'll have to earn it, right now it's Terrell's job to lose. And ZT is plenty good and experienced.

RE: Roster Changes
CS has a great arm and great size. He is mobile once he gets moving. With no intention to start anything, I'd feel a lot better with a Cubit type looking over his shoulder, opening up his vision. But that will come sooner or later, given enough reps.

Like I said before, the kid has a cannon for an arm, and major league size.
