Just got home and I have no audio. Kevin must have had zilch. Too bad their guy can pitch. Still there's hope in the pen.

Unfortunately, this is reminding me of the UH game.
However, I am expecting a different outcome. Go Owls!

Audio comes in just in time to hear us go down 0-6. We are not doing so hot tonight. I look for a seven run inning to restore the balance of nature.

Wow maybe we can get lucky and ODU can go to the B12. They certainly have had our number in all of the sports this year.

J Willy plates Gray, and Taylor with a double and makes second out of the inning stretching the double and getting thrown out a third. ODU's lead cut to four (2-6). Chandler follows it up with a double. Pitching change with a runner on second and two outs. Stainy strikes out swinging on three pitches to end the inning.

Lots of wild pitches that produced at least 3 runs.

That's a start...keep it going.

We're just playing bad fundamental baseball right now. Inability to lay down a bunt to the point where Coach has all but stopped calling for it even in obvious bunting situations...dramatic spike in wild pitches by our pitching staff and catchers...regularly missing cutoff throws allowing baserunners to advance an extra base...VERY passive on the base paths ourselves, regularly holding runners at 3B. We are not playing like an elite club right now.

I've pointed out that this has been a trend for the past 5 - 6 games.

And our inefficiency on offense continues. 8 hits (3 extrabases) and 4 BBs for just 2 runs in 6 innings.

And now we allow a delayed steal of 2B without even a throw...followed by a strikeout wild pitch, compounded by an E-2 throwing the ball into right field. This is little league stuff. Embarrassing. Our heads are just not in the game.

I do not know why Rice wastes the money to travel with the team playing like this. They should just forfeit. Maybe they should just forfeit and throw someone in a volcano. Or maybe they should forfeit, throw somebody in a volcano, and kill a rooster. I don't know if that would even work...Maybe forfeit, throw somebody in a volcano, kill a rooster, and not set the toilet seat back down after using it. That would probably been enough. Rice is DOOMED! DOOMED, I tell you...

This just in, it is hard to mount a comeback when the other team keeps scoring.

Gifting them runs doesn't help.

Strange pitching change, bringing in a guy who has been both wild and hit hard. Head scratcher.
