It's way early still, but there are some interesting/unusual proposed match-ups.

UH at TCU as 2 seed (better them than us)
UT at A&M as 2 seed (the Ags would have to be licking their chops over that possibility)
LA regional paired with Atlanta regional (really?)
Tallahassee regional paired with 2nd LA regional (really again?)

Why not send LA-2 to LA-1 and Atlanta to Tallahassee? I realize the #1 seeds in the two LA regionals are conference mates. If that's an issue, send Eugene to LA-1 and LA-2 regional to Baton Rouge.

I mis-read your post initially and thought Rice was the #3 seed at the TCU Regional, which seemed harsh!

To clarify, BA has Rice hosting a regional (with Miami, Oklahoma, and Central Arkansas). This regional is matched up with TCU's regional at the Super Regional level.

Per NCAA rules, you can't pair Eugene or the Los Angeles regionals since the #1 seeds are all from the same conference (and same with Atlanta and Tallahassee).
