no they went out in the first round (2 wks ago) but they lost 2-5 to the #6 OHIO Bobcats

That is the first time I had seen renderings of what the ice expansion would be. Very impressive. The report said almost triple the seating. I'm guessing that before the expansion maybe 1,000 so now 3,000 seating capacity. How close am I?

I think I read between 3500 and 4000 including standing room. Not sure though.

If it is 3500 to 4000 then that place, in that close up an intimate of setting, will be loud and rockin for LU games. It was very loud when I have attended games with full capacity. As we know, small facilities, when packed, really are loud and a home team advantage.

3200, including 1000 chair back seats, but the biggest addition will be the 10 suites

overall square footage goes from @ 59k to @ 89k

largely due to expanded/additional locker rooms to accommodate the 5 hockey programs as well as figure and synchronized skating clubs

also expanding the weight rooms and club sports offices
