Announced that he is transferring from Syracuse. 6'7 SF Athletic Sophomore who can shoot the 3. JMU recruited him in high school out of Lower Merrion in Philly. Same class and team mates of Yohani Dalembert. Philly/Lower Merrion/YoYo connection. Make it happen Brady and co! I wonder if in light of whats going on at Syracuse if he could petition the NCAA for a hardship to be eligible immediately. A 3-4 star talent like that could be the missing piece of the puzzle. Reminded me a little of a taller version of Nation with a better outside shot.

RE: BJ Johnson
We've recruited a couple of Syracuse's players of late, including a 6-9 big from upstate NY that nearly went to JMU. Much to the dismay of Dukeman, Dukes offered a 6-7 JUCO today from of all places, London, England. He's a 2015 recruit...see verbal commits site for more info.

The NCAA just yesterday eliminated hardship waivers so Johnson will have to sit out next year.

I was thinking Morehead State would be a logical destination.

Interesting scholarship offer -- stats and game logs show he didn't play this season

Guys guys... It doesn't matter where he ends up as long as it's in the Big 10.

RE: BJ Johnson
BJ Johnson is transferring to Lasalle. Brady checked in on him but I guess playing in Philly for his Dad's alma mater was too tough to compete against on this one.
