They have officially passed Memphis fans as my all time hated conference fanbase.

I don't get where all this "cheater" talk comes from.

That's a pathetic bunch those guys.

We paid our dues during the Memphis Invitational and seeing the tournament go to UTEP and Tulsa. This is the way it is and will always be. Bid for the tournament and get over it.

I know they won the regular season.

I also know in 3 games against UAB they went 1-2, barely winning in Ruston, getting run out of the damn gym at Bartow, and losing by 10 when it mattered most.

UAB went 8-2 against the top 6 in CUSA, with the 2 losses being by a combined 5 points on the road. All that matters.

That is a whole lot of hate. Good to know we had to cheat to beat them by 20 & 10.

The F_U loses were due to not being full strength...

If I read that crap any more my eyes are going to roll out of my damn head. "UAB's body of work doesn't justify a tournament bid" When that body of work includes a conference tourney championship, it sure as hell does. And if your team is so good and would do so much better, how come your guys couldn't beat a team you consider to be vastly inferior? Time to stop thinking about it. Go Blazers!

I can't believe their complaining. LA Tech beat us by 2 points in Ruston. We beat them by 20 points at home and 10 points in overtime in the CUSA tournament. In what world do they actually make it past Iowa State??


If they Host the tournament in Ruston, is there a a neutral venue that could accommodate the Tournament? Who would want to go to Ruston for a tournament??

You still got football La Tech? You still call Ruston home. Sucks for you.

I gave up trying to explain to them how getting into the NCAA tourny works.

They woulda beat the Cyclones by 15. Just ask 'em.

Well, most ODU fans (including myself) support UAB's run 100%. You all's bball team is bringing increasing light to the #freeUAB campaign and it shows that CUSA basketball is much tougher than what this selection committee believed it was.

Beat UCLA!

La Tech would be down 4 with a minute to go and throw the towel in.
