UC has never won as an 8 seed.

These streaks are no more.

But, UC's winning streak (42 games?) when scoring 60 is intact.

And, most importantly, Chuck's streak is still on 04-rock

I thought they said 44 games on the broadcast.

Don't have time to read through this today, but I'll just add that yesterday in Louisville ranks as one of my top 5 "UC fandom" times. There's nothing better than joining in on a nice Down the Drive chant in a city other than Cincinnati.

And celebrating that buzzer beater... Yeah, baby!

I mean he is way more talented and skilled than someone like Shaq Thomas who has seen PT at the 3 from time to time.

There would be absolutely no spacing or ability to create off the dribble with that lineup. Totally against that idea.

If you don't want Shaq to play, go 3 guard and get outside shooting.

Yeah I'd be fine with 3 guards then if that is the only alternative. He is athletic but he has absolutely zero offensive skills.

Sorry, they don't teach that kind of stuff at UC. I can't be held accountable!

RE: NCAA UC vs Purdue Game Thread
Was curious on Purdue's take on the game, so I visited their site and found what has to be my favorite quote ever published on the internet:

"Even then, it took a ball playing what felt like 10 minutes of "just the tip" with the rim before going in at the buzzer to send it to overtime."

Great Game Bearcats and congratulations on beating the prima donnas of the AAC. Now if you could only beat that lying, thieving, cheating Calipari it would make my season.

Hey, remember my "For the first time I believe MC can take us to a FF" thread? I didn't realize it meant food fight. I got laughed out of the forum, but that's ok...I don't need peeps to agree with me and I also admit I'm not always right. We so deserved a buzzer beater to go our way, especially in the tournament. I work in KY and this matchup just HAD to happen, no way destiny has us losing to Purdue there. Been fun all week. I have a guy who wants to bet that we don't score 60, a girl who is afraid we will intentionally hurt their players. Great stuff.
