Jemerrio Jones - 6-5 G (2016/Hill JC/Melrose HS)
Kid has been having a really good season and NJCAA tourney.

@JucoRecruiting Jemerrio Jones was excellent again for Hill College last night in a win over Mineral Area. Does it all. Had 11 points, 13 rebounds 8 assists.

@JucoRecruiting ยท Mar 16 Hill College freshman Jemerrio Jones finished with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Will be heavily recruited in 2016.

This was a pure miss - late signee in the summer. From Melrose - kid is stuffing the stat sheet. Two double doubles in a row. 40% from 3

C'mon now, you are reaching.

Just because he was available in the summer, and just because he was from Memphis, and just because he only had 2 years of eligibility, and just because he averaged 13 ppg and 13 rpg last year doesn't mean it was logical to go after him.

And just because he played with Markel in HS.

It's near sickening to see those stats - he's not putting up numbers against Savannah State either - those are some decent programs.

Seems like Kel would have put in a word and said, "come home, we need you"! When did he sign with New Mx? It's obvious that we need a dawg right now! Maybe we have it in Clergeot!

If I had the energy, I'd sign up to Twitter and tweet this cat's game log to BAM on a regular basis.

Just a pretty big oversight/miss or whatever you want to call it.

Dude was available LATE and put up impressive numbers.

It is what it is though.

Jones went for 19 and 7 against Dan Majerle last night.

@JonRothstein New Mexico State has quietly won 14 consecutive games & is 16-2 overall. Beat upstart Grand Canyon by 12 on Thursday. Team to watch in WAC.

"If you had the energy"??? LMAO!!!

You post dozens of times on here, seemingly every day on this topic, yet you "don't have the energy" to sign up for Twitter and post the same stuff?

That's rich.

I gotta put this one on you HD!!!! That this talent is NOT on our roster and all...esp since he played with Markel!!!!! There is NOWAY we should miss on this guy. It makes ALL the difference in the WORLD that WE could be a S16 team with this addition!!!! Could you imagine the HOOPLA!!!!!

Could have been right back up there with the Fanfare that we had when X was the skipper....National Relevance; kicking arse....

This one's on you HD....Man Up....You dropped the ball on this one! 01-lauramac2

I think we'd be pretty good with Jones, a healthy Rykhoek and Jaylen Fisher.

Pretty good.

Many were pretty sure that was an oxymoron.

Looking back it was a good decision. Tubby has brought in far better players.

And we finished 9th in conference.
Tub-e got his vacay last summer; needed to rest up for our terrific season we had last year.

Since he has effectively lowered our rankings, any win will be like a birthday present this season.

And, AAC basketball is not as hard as playing in B12. Easy for us to be like red raiders.

We finished 9th in the conference? When was that? Last year, Coach Smith's first year we finished 5th, even with all of the dysfunction from the Lawsons.
