I was more optimistic, I thought it was over at the 9 minute mark of the second half. LSU played too few kids for too long, however our big three couldn't toss the ball in the ocean the last 5 minutes of the game.

We could beat Villanova or lose by 30 - who knows with the team?

Oh well, I guess we're not getting 6 teams in the sweet sixteen this year. UVA finishes up 2-3 in their last 5 games. 3-2 in the last 2 NCAA tourney with a 1 seed and a 2 seed.

Way to mess up the perfect ACC record, UVA!

Didnt realize until I read it earlier that this was the second year in a row that UV was knocked out of the tourney by MSU. I magine not making the tourney for years and when you do, its the same team knocking you out messes with your head. No wonder one of the UV players took the loss so badly.

You have to get payback. They knocked us out several years ago when we were the #1 seed and they were 2. We paid them back the next time we were paired up and they were the higher seed. Izzo was a total jerk about it both times. I used to think he was a good coach, but since then I have disliked him and his arrogance. I'd just assume they lose every time.

Cards put together one of their best performances of the year and beat 31-3 Northern Iowa 66-53. UNI looked outclassed to be honest. They have shooters from outside but it was a step up from MVC play.
